Time to SHAKE N SWEAT y’all! 💗

Upstairs we got:

@beatsbyflora is a Japanese DJ/Producer based in Brooklyn. She is a rare one out here, Unlike most of her peers, she isn’t fussed about ‘coming in hot’ in the traditional way for peak time sets, and instead is hell bent on giving you the most divine musical experiences from her deep collection of downtempo records; fiercely dedicated to her first loves: Hip Hop + RnB. She has played at Elsewhere supporting the Neo Soul artist Erika de Casier, Good Room supporting the iconic artist @toribious_monk , and more. She’s got her party @downtempoparty that focuses on R&B + dreamy beats + bringing people together w/ soulful music.

Downstairs we got:

Selam Samuel, aka @misshapselam , is a selector and collector based in New York City. Starting off as a dancehall and reggae selector, she has since expanded to funk, soul, house, international music. Her rhythmatic and vibration-shifting infused sets have led to holding down residencies at the city’s hottest establishments such as Anything, Bar Meridian, Public Records and Union Pool. Outside the decks, you can find her several days a week behind the counter at @recordcitybk in Flatbush, Brooklyn for all your vinyl necessities.

@blvck_truffle is an eclectic selector out of New Jersey. He’s 1/3 of DJ collective @koldkutzmusic , 1/4 of party @lnsurgence_ , and 1/2 of party @dark.loud.jc . If you x-rayed his heart, you’d see RnB and House written all over it. This is just his foundation though. He’s got reggae and dancehall in his blood, and will jump on that funk train when he’s feelin it. He’s a regular at Black Flamingo, and fresh off nights at House of Yes with @djultraviolet_ and Xanadu w/ @deepplayanyc + @soulsummitmusic.

Finally, we’ve got @hunnybunnynyc. D’Angelo is his favorite artist, he believes music ain’t music without some soul in it, and he most definitely won’t let bpm or genre hold him back from selecting what suits the moment best.
